Call for Abstracts for the International Symposium on Bioinspired Macromolecular Systems
The “International Symposium on Bioinspired Macromolecular Systems (ISBMS)” will be held at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, from 6th to 8th November, 2017. This event will include the workshop “Enabling chemical and design tools for natural biomaterials development” and a training session on “Scientific management and translational research”, as part of the European Horizon 2020 Twinning project “CHEM2NATURE” (“Enabling precision chemical methodologies applied to natural-based systems for the development of multifunctional biomedical devices”). Moreover, attendees may participate in a marine biotechnology session under the scope of the Marine Biotechnology ERA-NET project “BLUETEETH”.
The scientific program of this event will consist on plenary/tutorial lectures to be delivered by internationally world-distinguished scientists, and poster presentations by the participants, in fields that include: advanced chemical tools in polymer synthesis and modification; supramolecular and multifunctional/smart systems; hydrogels; bioinstructive surfaces; natural-based macromolecules or biomimetic strategies in biomedicine and bioengineering. The scientific program is available in: http://isbms.web.ua.pt.
The organizing committee invites you to submit an abstract for poster presentation through: http://isbms.web.ua.pt/?page_
Do not miss this unique opportunity to learn from internationally renowned speakers and network with your peers. The early bird registration deadline is the 1st October, 2017 and the deadline for abstract submission is the 6th October.
